Plagiarism Policy

Manuscripts submitted to AMMR must be original and must not have been published elsewhere or be under consideration by another journal. Every submission is screened with similarity-detection software before and during peer review.

As a general guideline, the overall similarity index should not exceed 20% (excluding references and properly quoted material), and similarity to any single source should be minimal. Manuscripts exceeding acceptable limits are returned or rejected.

Forms of Plagiarism Considered Misconduct

  • Verbatim copying of text, figures, or data without attribution.
  • Paraphrasing another's work without proper citation.
  • Self-plagiarism or redundant (duplicate) publication.
  • Fabrication or falsification of data or results.

Confirmed plagiarism results in rejection or, if already published, correction or retraction, and may be reported to the authors' institutions in line with COPE flowcharts.
