  • Attribute all sources and obtain permission for reused material.
  • Disclose funding sources and any conflicts of interest.
  • Not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously.
  • Notify the editor promptly of any error discovered after submission or publication.

Editors

  • Make fair, unbiased decisions based solely on academic merit.

  • Manage conflicts of interest and recuse themselves where necessary.
  • Act promptly and fairly on suspected or alleged misconduct.

Reviewers

  • Maintain confidentiality and objectivity.
  • Complete reviews within the agreed timeframe.
  • Declare conflicts of interest before accepting an assignment.

Allegations of misconduct are handled following COPE flowcharts. Where warranted, the journal will issue corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions.
